A Shrine For My Favorite Princess
I've always been interested in Disney princess. What little girl wasn't? For the past few years, I've tried phasing it out because I'm too mature for it (spoiler: I'm not!) Despite this, I never fully cleaned out my bedroom which works out for me. I've recently become obsessed with Aurora and Sleeping Beauty as a whole!
Aurora was never my favorite growing up. I was a sucker for Ariel mostly because of her red hair. I think Belle was my favorite for a while but never long enough, then it was Elsa (I saw Frozen in the theater a million times), and for the past few years it was Snow White!
It all started while taking my fantasy class. I had to take a fantasy novel and read it and do a small project with it. The usual. I decided to read Once Upon A Dream by Liz Braswell, I had tried picking it up every now and then, but I always lost interest mid-way through. So I wanted to give it another read.
Unfortunately, the book was barely good, but it did get me too think a little too much about the princess. My thoughts came from how the world responded everytime I read the book or watched the movies, or thought of the character. S would post, S would do something. It's a very dramatic way to get my attention.

This is a Disney Vinylmation. Okay, so this isn't actually Aurora. This is part of a High School set and she's the mean girl. They have a seperate Aurora one. I'm including this because it's pretty clear that this is a reference to Briar Rose.

A loved childhood book. Trust me, all the pages are torn and colored. I mostly loved the pictures, I really never read it.
I would give anything to be her. I also dream that my love will come soon.
