This is the finished piece to go with my Behind The Playset sketch. I chose to have the kids behind the playset to represent the secretive nature of kids. Often kids experience death by witnessing it in nature such as finding a dead animal in the woods or witnessing an animal die. I chose a ladybug because they feel like the most innocent bug that reflects ideas of death in children.
